The Board of Directors is responsible for determining Iterg’s strategic focus areas and defining its missions, objectives and resources. The Board is made up mainly of business representatives from the sector but also includes members of government bodies and skilled representatives from the world of science.

Based on a similar structure, the Scientific Committee is responsible for defining the annual research programme and related joint initiatives. Its role also involves overseeing implementation of the research programme and assessing the quality and value of results obtained.

The general management team is responsible for implementing the strategies and decisions and for managing the staff and resources required to satisfy both the general-interest and private-initiative objectives.
